Four bridges and two interchanges in Clinton's I-40 rebuild

Clinton's I-40 work was already underway when ODOT briefed the Transportation Commission in January 2026. The agency described a $76 million partnership with the city to rebuild and rehabilitate the Gary Boulevard and Neptune Drive/10th Street interchanges, replacing four bridges.

The commission's published minutes explain that revised construction phasing helped reduce an earlier four-year estimate to about two years. Initial detours and temporary lane changes were expected to take two to three months. Planning the crew's base around those stages would be more useful than treating the entire project as one unchanging work area. A roughly two-year undertaking is the kind of assignment where the staffing plan may include temporary sleeper accommodation for workers coming from outside the area. Accommodation would need a stable site beyond the changing interchange works, with a reliable route for shift changes.

Clinton’s hospital reopening followed ten months of licensing and building work

Clinton Regional Hospital reopened on October 30, 2023, after ten months closed. Northeastern Health System, whose consulting organization helped the hospital return, reported six months of work with Clinton’s board to re-establish its license. KECO’s year-end account also described the city’s spending on building upgrades. During that kind of preparation, a contractor restroom trailer outside the contractor’s work entrance could give the building team bathroom access while interior facilities are prepared for patients. Deliveries and servicing would need to remain separate from the emergency entrance. The reopening restored emergency, radiology and laboratory services at the 93,000-square-foot hospital. The consultant’s November report recorded 29 employees and a license for 22 beds at that stage of the return to service.

Clinton’s airport plan added enclosed storage for aircraft

Clinton’s airport construction notice placed a T-hangar and a box hangar in its anticipated federally funded work for fiscal 2025. Builders working on that new aircraft storage could use a temporary restroom trailer within an approved construction compound, with servicing arranged through the contractor’s airfield access point.

The FAA’s August 20, 2025 grant announcement separately listed $315,416 for hangar construction or expansion at Clinton Regional. The city places the airport three miles northeast of town and identifies its paved and turf runways. Working beside those aviation facilities gives a delivery route practical importance: the bathroom’s service vehicle needs an agreed way into the compound that does not interfere with aircraft operations or machinery assembling the new buildings.

Corrosion at Clinton’s water plant led to funding for new chlorine facilities

A chlorine gas leak had damaged and corroded filter equipment at Clinton’s water treatment plant when OWRB approved improvement funding on November 30, 2023. The award provided $1,262,382 through the state’s ARPA program, matched by the same amount in local funds. The planned remedy included a new building for chlorine gas storage and new feed equipment. For the construction team, a restroom trailer could provide a separate break facility at an approved location outside the chemical-handling area, with its own confirmed utility arrangements. The funding notice concerns a specific equipment and storage problem at the plant. The proposed building was intended to house the new gas feed and storage systems as the city addressed that damage.

Clinton’s wastewater loan targeted the failing line into its treatment plant

Clinton’s main sewer line had suffered structural failure, according to the November 18, 2025 OWRB financing announcement. The authority received approval for a $5.39 million loan to replace the route into the treatment plant, adding a lift station with debris-removing bar screens and a new force main.

For crews assembling those connections, a construction restroom trailer needs a waste-service arrangement independent of the line being replaced. The agreed contractor compound is the place to establish that access before excavation and stored pipe occupy the work area.

The financed design also included a splitter box and a manhole to manage incoming flows and improve access. OWRB described a municipal system with more than 3,300 sewer connections, giving this single treatment-plant approach a wider role in the community’s daily service.

Clinton’s school bond program extended across three campuses

Clinton’s April 5, 2022 school-bond vote authorized up to $39 million, with a subsequent $30.885 million financing issue for a new junior high and improvements at Nance and Southwest elementary schools. The city’s audited financial statements record the construction, furnishings and equipment scope. A contractor restroom trailer can give the building trades their own bathroom at a designated work entrance while a school project is still being fitted out.

By summer 2026, the district was directing families to the new Clinton Middle School at 2100 Jaycee Lane for enrollment. Its published instructions sent parking to the high school and enrollment to the new cafeteria. That change from a worksite to a family arrival point makes handover more than a building milestone: the entrance and service arrangements have to suit the school’s daily users.

A former Clinton firehouse was selected for a new public role

Clinton received a $656,928 Route 66 Revitalization Grant in May 2026 to help turn its city-owned WPA-era firehouse into a visitor center and community space. The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s interview-based report traced the proposal to a University of Oklahoma design-visioning event in 2025 and a subsequent local steering committee.

Restoring an older public building gives a contractor restroom trailer a practical role during construction if the interior facilities are unavailable to the trades. A suitable service point outside the work entrance can keep that temporary arrangement clear of the rooms being converted. The city agreed to a ten-percent match for the project, designed by Andrew Stone, with participating groups including Fuerza Latina Clinton, Southwest Playhouse and West OK Co-op.

Clinton’s Final Lap program mixed a car show with an art walk

Frisco Avenue’s September 13, 2025 program was billed as Clinton’s Final Lap to the Route 66 centennial. The Chamber’s published preview combined a car show, visual artists, food trucks and children’s activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with free admission. In a street event with both parked show cars and people moving between storefronts, a restroom trailer can supplement existing bathrooms at a public gathering point, leaving vehicle display spaces and the walking route usable. The announced music moved from Those Cats From Out West at 10 a.m. to The McKedy Band at 11 and Biskitheadz at 12:30. The program also included racecars from the Clinton Speed Bowl alongside the car-show competition.

Send us the address, dates, and number of people staying. Tell us who will share sleeping space and which portable shower, bathroom, and laundry facilities you need. We'll discuss the available layouts with you.

Can I ask for a portable bathroom or shower on its own?

Tell us which facility you need and what is already available at the property. We can review a portable restroom trailer, mobile shower, or combined unit for the job.

How do I choose a portable sleeper layout?

Start with the rooming arrangements. A crew sharing bunk space has different needs from staff who need separate rooms. The model pages show photos and published details to help you compare.

What should I send before discussing delivery?

The address, preferred dates, crew size, and a description of the entrance and available space are useful. Include what you know about power, water, and wastewater connections so we can talk through placement.

A classic Chevrolet linked Clinton’s museum open house to its light parade

The Oklahoma Route 66 Museum planned a decorated classic Chevrolet truck for Clinton’s December 3, 2024 Festival of Lights parade. Earlier that afternoon, the museum offered a free community open house from 1 to 4 p.m., with volunteer-served refreshments and access to Rhys Martin’s Discovering 66 exhibit.

The parade was scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Frisco Avenue, taking the celebration from the museum into downtown. Supplemental restroom facilities near the outdoor gathering areas could extend bathroom access for spectators and participants waiting for the evening procession. The unit’s location would need to follow where people assemble, rather than assuming that the afternoon museum stop and the downtown parade have the same facilities available. The museum’s Chevrolet was part of that move between two different event settings.

Clinton’s July rodeo scheduled two evening performances

Temporary restrooms for an outdoor rodeo need to remain usable through the evening program, when competitors, arena crews and spectators are all still on the grounds. Clinton’s 2025 Pro Rodeo was listed by the International Professional Rodeo Association for July 18–19, with performances at 8 p.m. both nights.

The association’s archive identifies Clinton’s outdoor Roundup Club arena, IPRA/ACRA sanctioning and TK Pro Rodeo Co. as stock contractor. Entries were handled through NextGenRodeo, with $9,000 in advertised added money across the program. Any additional bathroom’s service route should stay clear of livestock movement and competitor access. For a two-night booking, that also leaves an opportunity to service the unit between performances before the second evening’s arrivals.
